Tree of Life’s Still Water Ministry serves individuals with special needs and their families, providing a place where every participant can experience fellowship, grow in independence, and feel a true sense of belonging.

We offer a variety of structured and enjoyable activities that encourage learning, interaction, and community connection. These include events such as bowling, games, art and movie nights, and dances, all in a safe and welcoming environment that allows participants to build friendships and engage at their own pace.
This ministry is supported by volunteers who are passionate about fostering meaningful relationships and creating an inclusive community. If you’d like to get involved, please sign up for our Volunteer Introduction Program to learn more about Tree of Life and how you can get plugged into Still Waters and other ministry areas.
All our events are listed on our Still Waters Calendar, which you can download and print HERE (updated 3/9/2026).
Many of the events ask for advance registration so we can plan accordingly. Those sign ups are linked in the calendar and also available here.
Any last-minute updates or changes to events will be texted to families. You can sign up for these alerts by texting TOLSTILLWATERS to 833-491-0002.
If your child is new to the program, please complete a registration form prior to attending, and plan to remain on-site during the first event so we can ensure a smooth and comfortable transition. We currently serve middle-school through adult, but if you have an elementary aged child that would like to get involved, please reach out!

To learn more about the impact our Still Waters Ministry has had, check out our documentary UNAFRAID. This short film focuses on a young man named Sam who has been part of our Still Waters Ministry for years and works at our coffee shop, SimplyBe Coffee, which provides work opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and also lives in our housing. We hope you’ll take a few moments to watch.
