Tree of Life hosts “Summer Giveaway” events every year that help families in Loudoun and neighboring communities. Our flagship event in Purcellville offers donated clothing, furniture, backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and more to those in need. This year, we provided over 700 backpacks and school supplies at events in Purcellville and Sterling, as well as providing them directly to family liaisons at local schools.  Clothing was given to 752 individuals, 90 received free furniture, 70 free haircuts were provided, as well as distributing 150 Bibles and sharing the Gospel with over 600 people. These events involve around 100 volunteers each year to help us get ready and also host the events, as well as support from local businesses, churches, local health organizations, and more.
