An Encouraging Word: “Do not fear, I am with you.”

Dear Friend,
This time of the year is particularly joyful with the anticipation of seasons changing, warm weather, and the newness of life in many forms all around us. The most joyous of all is the celebration of our risen Savior, allowing us the opportunity to experience and partake in a new life in Him.
Throughout our lives, even during times of contentment, circumstances often cloud our vision and we take our eyes off of Him during these moments. Many of us have or are currently experiencing the heaviness and weight of the world. Although debatable on the exact number of times, the Bible clearly instructs us to not be afraid. There will be valleys, there will be times of human despair and sadness, but the promise and the assurance remains.
Isaiah 41:10 ‘fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.
This verse provides encouragement, assurance, a pledge of assistance, and a promise of support when we need it. Just go to Him, keep your eyes on Him.
At Tree of Life, our purpose is to serve the community across our 3 geographical regions with the love of Jesus through our 5-Branch model and our Gospel Enterprises; SimplyBe Coffee and The Clothing Closet. We endeavor to meet the physical needs of our neighbors as Jesus directed us to do in Matthew 25, such as hunger and thirst, clothing, financial needs…and so much more.
I invite each of you to consider volunteering, praying for and with us, and giving to support the work that we endeavor to do to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Wishing you all a very blessed Resurrection season.
All for Him,
Susannah D. Lee
