Virginia Valley Vipers Partner with Tree of Life

PURCELLVILLE, VA – The Virginia Valley Vipers are proud to continue their partnership with Tree of Life Ministries by collecting non-perishable and canned food items at all Vipers home games held at Patrick Henry College.

Tree of Life Ministries serves all of Loudoun County through a unique food pantry model that delivers groceries directly to families in need. By removing transportation barriers, they ensure that families receive the food they need without additional hardship. Each delivery includes two to three weeks’ worth of groceries, significantly easing financial burdens and allowing families to allocate funds toward other essential needs. This model not only provides sustenance but also fosters relationships, enabling Tree of Life to assess and address additional needs to help families achieve sustainability and independence.

“The Vipers organization is excited to expand our collaboration with Tree of Life Ministries to support local families facing food insecurity,” said Josh Kirby, Director of Communications & Media Relations for the Virginia Valley Vipers. “We are grateful for our partnership with Tree of Life and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community.”

Vipers Team Market Owner Tina Culbreath echoed this sentiment, stating, “We are honored to work alongside Tree of Life Ministries to support those in our community who need a helping hand. Their mission aligns with our values, and we recognize that true change happens through collaboration. No single organization can solve these challenges alone—it’s about more than just basketball; it’s about making a real difference.”

Jennifer Del Grande, Chief Communications Officer for Tree of Life Ministries, highlighted the impact of the partnership: “Since arriving in Purcellville, the Valley Vipers have been instrumental in supporting our food pantry. They have already hosted two successful food drives with the local Giant, collecting thousands of pounds of food and raising awareness of this ongoing need in Loudoun County. In 2024 alone, Tree of Life delivered over 146,000 pounds of food to local families, and the demand remains high in 2025. The Vipers’ continued support is invaluable in the fight against food insecurity in our community.”
