“Truly, O God of Israel, our Savior, you work in mysterious ways.” Isaiah 45:15 NLT
Did you know that God shapes our lives and provides us opportunities to see Him at work? Sometimes, we get to see Him working through us, and sometimes, we are on the receiving end of His blessings. A man who had arrived from El Salvador just wandered in to our Community Kitchen meal in Sterling. While there, he shared his situation, and how he needed work. Another person at the dinner had a moving job for which he had been praying for one more person to join. This job opportunity was offered to the newcomer on the spot, which he accepted. This man is now attending church on a regular basis (the same church where we hosted the meal).Stories like this warm my heart because I KNOW that God is at work all around us. He’s constantly communicating to us through His Word, telling us that He loves us and cares for us. He desires for us to care for one another.  If you haven’t been to our Community Kitchen meals in any of our three regions, now is the time to come and see who you will meet. The meals are open to all, and each time it gives you a chance to see how God is at work!May you be blessed,
Chaplain Wayne
