Last month, Purcellville’s Healthcare Branch recently coordinated a Free Dental Clinic in collaboration with Dr. Nadia Armentrout of Dental Smiles at Purcellville Gateway and by Dr. Nooshin Monajemy of Purcellville Pediatric Dentistry. One parent emailed us: “I want to say thank you very much for the help from TOL about the dentist. My son had his teeth repaired today. More than $1400 savings!  Real help!”A single mom stopped into the Clothing Closet recently and tearfully shared this story: “The Clothing Closet has helped me afford clothing & accessories to look nice for work. I am so thankful!”

After an extra blessing of food, Judah, our Leesburg Food Pantry Manager shared with the employees of neighboring businesses. One of the employees came back later and explained that he had been going through a very rough time and was not planning on having lunch that day, so to receive the meal was super encouraging for him since he knew, as he put it, that “someone was looking out for him.”

Spiritual Growth Update

“Hope deferred makes a heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”
Proverbs 13:12

Prayer and the Word of God are foundational to Tree of Life and is one of our core values.  Whenever anyone calls Tree of Life, we ask “How can I pray for you?”

Praying for someone when they ask gives them hope, because we are lifting your prayer requests to our Heavenly Father.  He is the One who fulfills our longing, and helps us to see life from an eternal perspective—a tree of life.

In 2021 so far, Tree of Life has recorded 532 prayer requests for our partners, which is 532 times we asked the Lord to fill others with His hope, so they too can rejoice!

How can we pray for you?  Please send an email to me at wruckman@tolministries.org.

Be blessed!

Chaplain Wayne Ruckman
